Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, and payment details (processed securely by Razorpay — we never store card numbers). We also automatically collect: search queries you enter, IP address, browser type, and usage data to improve the Service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: (a) provide and improve the Service; (b) process payments and manage your credit balance; (c) show you your search history in your dashboard; (d) send service-related communications such as payment confirmations; (e) detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
3. Search Data
Searches you perform are stored in your account to power your search history dashboard. Vehicle data returned from searches is cached temporarily in our system (up to 24 hours for RC/Mobile, 6 hours for Used Car) to reduce API costs and improve speed. Cached results are shared across users — no personal information is tied to the cache.
4. Third-Party Services
We use: Firebase (Google) for authentication and database storage; Razorpay for payment processing; and third-party vehicle data APIs. Each provider has their own privacy policy. We share only the minimum required data with these providers.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. We may share data with: (a) service providers operating on our behalf; (b) law enforcement if required by law; (c) in the event of a merger or acquisition, under confidentiality obligations.
6. Data Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed by Firebase Auth. API keys and secrets are stored as server-side environment variables and are never exposed to the browser. We conduct regular security reviews.
7. Data Retention
Your account and search history are retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting support@rc360.in. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
8. Cookies
We use Firebase Authentication tokens (stored as cookies/local storage) to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You may clear these at any time via your browser settings.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided data, please contact us immediately.
10. Your Rights
You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; opt out of non-essential communications. To exercise these rights, contact support@rc360.in.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
